Witty Remarks From Kids

Children are the most extraordinary creatures on earth. They can take the wits out of the sanest person on earth with their mischievous manners and they can also thaw the hardest of hearts with their adorable ways. They are candid most of the time and at other times say tactless remarks without meaning to. I have quoted below some of the phrases I heard from my children. Check them out. I hope you’ll enjoy them.

- “Mommy, huwag kang mag-alala paglaki ko at may trabaho na ako, bibigyan kita ng piso.”(my 4-year old son Aaron, assuring me that everything will be just fine. This was the time I was putting him to bed)

- “Mommy, ako din. Bibigyan din kita ng piso.” (my 2-year old son Gabriel)—Well, Lucky me! I’m now looking forward to a two-peso retirement pension from my sons.

- “Ayokong magkaroon ng girlfriend paglaki ko.” (Paolo, my 8-year old son said while we were discussing about what they want to be when they grow up) “Bakit naman?” (I asked him.) “Gastos lang yun.” (He answered)—Yeah! Way to go son, That proves you know more about life than I do. But I doubt if you could keep your word if your handsome head is snugly resting upon a pretty girl’s lap ten years from now.

- “Aaron, hindi ko makita ang TV!” (my 2-year old niece, Ara, shouting at my son Aaron who is standing with his back to her, facing the television set) “Aaron, sabi ng hindi ko makita and TV!” “Ano ba Aaron, umalis ka diyan sabi, hindi ko makita ang TV!”

“Patay ang TV!”, (Aaron turning to face Ara and furiously shouting at her)—That just goes to show, kids are weird sometimes.

- “Mommy, mommy! Yung balloon ni Aaron, nalaglag sa langit” (my niece, Ara, telling her mom of the incident when Aaron accidentally released his balloon)—Defying the law of gravity, eh?

There are more of where these came from. However, I’m afraid that I couldn’t put it all in one post but I do hope these perked up your day
